Dirt Road Derby

This is not an easy message to write, and we wish we didn’t need to. With just one month to go until the Dirt Road Derby, we have to announce, with a lot of sadness and regret, that we are canceling the race.

Why? Simply put - we want to be able to host the best event we can that leaves all participants excited to come back the next year and we don’t think we can do that. We recognize that this time of year holds a lot of competition for a rider's time. October 12 also has another gravel race, MiSCA state championships, and Iceman pre-rides. We recognize a shift in riding priorities to CX and MTB in the fall as well. Our registrations were not what we needed them to be at this time to continue to move forward. We are honored that you wanted to spend your weekend with us. With so many gravel races vying for your attention in the state and area, we are going to focus on bringing a unique event to the area next year that people would be excited about trying out. Please know that you will receive a refund of your entry fee, and as a small token of our regret at having to disappoint you, you will be entitled to 50% off of any event we host next year.
